What Is SUMA-Kit?
SUMA-Kit is a software for building search engines. A simple search engine can be built with just SUMA-Kit and a config file. SUMA-Kit provides a web server and takes care of all the technical stuff. The only thing not provided by SUMA-Kit is an index. (Don't worry, we have example indexes.)
Currently Supported Index Types:
- Local indexes based on CIFF and parquet files (Compatible with OpenWebSearch.EU)
- Remote indexes based on the OpenSearch standard
- News indexes based on the Mastodon trends API
- Simple indexes based on a single JSON file (for small datasets and demonstrators)
- Dummy index for internal testing
